Top Five Water Parks To Visit In 2017

Summer will be here again before you know it. What better way to plan for a fun summer than to visit one of the world's most amazing water parks. #1 Water Country USA
Water country USA is located in Williamsburg, Virginia. This park continues to hold the crown as the middle Atlantic's biggest water park with over forty water slides. Their Colossal Curl water slide is credited for much of the parks attention. The slide was built in 2014 and is the first of its kind. It's has two action packed elements - it is over five hundred and fifty feet long with a twenty four foot tornado wave pool at the bottom. Colossal Curl's rafts can fit up to four people! This is a slide the whole family is sure to enjoy together.

#2 Delgrosso's Amusement Park
Delgrosso's Amusement Park is located in Tyrone, Pennsylvania. This family owned/operated park built its largest expansion during this past summer of 2016. This marks a milestone in the parks history of over sixty eight years in operation. The twelve million dollar Laguna Splash expansion opened Memorial Day weekend. The new expansion includes a lazy river, wave pool, and a Leaning Tower of Pisa water attraction. This Italian themed park and family are best know for their famous pasta sauce that has been around since 1914. The park has also accommodated new food vendors as well as their new attractions.

#3 Holiday World & Splashin' Safari
Santa Claus, Indian is where the Holiday World and Splashin' Safari are located. This park is home to the two longest water coasters in the world. The Mammoth and The Wildebeest coasters out last all of the worlds water coasters. The Mammoth is know for its large six seater raft that must climb up seven stories before sliding down a seven drop course. The Wildebeest is know for its modern age coaster which features a curving track of tunnels which go underground and drops that can race its four seater raft to speeds up to thirty six feet per sec. Not to mention their eight story high Tornado Slide called Zinga. This four person tube will ride the winding walls of the awesome mega structure.

#4 Six Flags White Water
Six Flags White Water Park is located in Marietta, Georgia. This park is newly home to one of the world's largest racing slides called the Wahoo Racer. Built in 2016, this six lane side by side slide stands almost 60 ft tall. Riders race down the slide head first upon water toboggans which go winding around a large loop and up stomach gutting hills that lead to the straightaway finishing line. This Wahoo Racer only adds to the amazing lineup of water attractions located within Six Flags White Water Park.

#5 Schlitterbahn Water Park
Schlitterbahn Water Park is located in Kansas City, Kansas. Almost all of the Schlitterbahn water parks are located within Texas but their Kansas location draws the most attention. Kansas's Schlitterbahn Water Park is home to the world's tallest water slide the Verrückt. The Verrückt is over one hundred and sixty eight feel tall. It is unlike any water slide in the world - as its four seater raft dives down fifteen stories reaching up to speeds over seventy miles per hour. Families of all shapes and sizes are welcome to float down the King Kaw Rapids River! This three thousand foot float may surprise you with a few waterfalls and white water rapids.
